Hello there!

Hi! My name is Jess Irvine and I’m a children’s writer and entertainer.
My aim is to foster a love of reading and writing in children.

I am based in Perth, however my stories travel all around the world thanks to the internet.

I have worked with children since I was fourteen. I have worked in schools, churches, day cares, youth groups, and more recently providing entertainment at children’s birthday parties and events.

I also have my own two children who I adore spending time with.

When I was young, my parents helped to foster a love of literature in me. My dad used to read to me from authors like C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkein, and my mum bought me a collectors edition of the Famous Five books by Enid Blyton. Now I want to help children fall in love with reading and writing and help them develop their imaginations.
